I found a gem tucked away in the corner of a shopping center that I can't keep secret.
On Saturday the hubs and I discovered, Annapoorna Fine Indian Cuisine in Irvine along with my parents. Being "newbies" to Indian food, we asked the server for recommendations. He did not disappoint. Everything we ate was aromatic and flavorful. My favorites were the chicken tikka marsala and hyderabadi dum biryani.
A few things of note, it is small and it does get busy. The restaurant serves a daily lunch at the incredible price of $9.99 from 11:00-2:30. Dinner hours are from 5:00 to 10:00.
I can't wait to visit again and try the onion dosa and some dessert.
