Summer 2014

As the mercury soared this week my patience grew short with the trio cooped up indoors.  Thoughts of high temperatures along with boredom led me to think about summer recess.  What to do with my three littles?

To be completely upfront, three children at different stages with different interests and needs can raise a few challenges when cordinating plans and activities for summer.  I put out the word that I was looking for suggestions on how to keep sane (I mean, add JOY) during summer and provide fun for everyone.  I went to work and investigated city programs, local dance studios and summer offerings in our area.  The kids provided feedback too!  I am confident they'll each have reasons to look at this summer fondly. I love a good plan and I think this summer is going to be one of our best ones yet!

It may appear that I have over scheduled, but many of these activities are just an hour.  I've used a super calender program that allows our computers and phones to be synced so the hubs and I can know where, when and with who we need to be!

Now that the leg work is done, I just need to make the lemonade... oh and trust me with this current heat wave I plan to!
